Director and owner of Robin's School of Dance, Robin has degrees in education and psychology, has studied dance for over 30 years, and has 20+ years of teaching experience. While Miss Robin loves all styles of dance, her passion is tap dancing! Robin is certified to teach ballet, tap, classical/contemporary jazz, modern, and theatrical acrobatics to beginners through advanced students. She is also a certified Zumba and Les Mills Body Pump instructor.

Miss Melissa has degrees in physical education and recreation. She is a full-time dance instructor at Robin's School Dance and has been teaching since 2004. She especially enjoys working with the older students and teaching her adult fitness classes. She is certified to teach classical ballet, tap, classical/contemporary jazz, modern, and theatrical acrobatics. Melissa is certified by Zumba to teach Basic 1 and 2. Miss Melissa also enjoys being the coach of the Dordt College Defender Dance Team!

Miss Kirbee grew up dancing in her mother’s studio! She has degrees in business marketing, psychology, and legal studies. Miss Kirbee has experience in all styles of dance and began teaching and choreographing already in the fifth grade. She is also a certified Zumba instructor and has experience coaching both high school and college dance teams. Choreography is Miss Kirbee's passion and she has won a multitude of awards using her abilities! She also serves as our studio marketing director.

Miss Mollie began dancing at six years old and was Miss Robin’s first student. She spent 11 years training and also taught from 7th grade through her senior year. She left the studio in 2002 to start her family and begin another career. After 13 years away, she decided to return to the studio when her daughters became involved in dance. Her favorite styles are hip hop and tap. Miss Mollie also works as a massage therapist.

Miss Claire has been dancing at RSD since she was three years old. In high school, she danced competitively, assisted at the studio, and was a member of the Unity Christian Dance Team. Miss Claire is currently studying social work at Dordt University, as well as dancing on the Dordt Defender Dance Team.

Miss Erika has been teaching yoga based on a vinyasa flow style for 6+ years and practicing for 10+ years. Erika, formerly licensed as an insurance agent, was inspired to begin practicing yoga by a co-worker! She graduated from a 200-hour registered yoga teacher training in 2015 and teaches classes filled with proper alignment cues in a light-hearted and relaxed manner. One of Erika's favorite quotes is, "Get over not being perfect. Our work is to discover and learn from days we fail."
